Independence

edunews.today is independent. We take no money from the institutions we cover, and advertising never shapes what we report. When a piece touches a party we have any relationship with, we say so in the article.

Sourcing

Every figure we publish carries a named source and a year, and links to that source where one is available. We prefer primary and official sources over aggregators, and we cut a claim we cannot stand behind rather than dress it up. We do not invent quotes, statistics, or citations.

Reporting and opinion

We separate reporting from opinion. Analysis is labelled as analysis, and opinion pieces are marked as opinion so you always know which you are reading.

Corrections

We correct errors in the open. When we get a fact wrong, we fix the article and note what changed, rather than editing quietly. If you spot an error, tell us at desk@edunews.today and we will look into it.

Use of tools

A human editor is responsible for every article we publish. We check facts, sources, and figures before a piece goes live, whatever tools were used to help draft or research it. Responsibility for what we publish rests with us, not with any tool.
